Recommended. The quality of the steel is good. The thickness of the handle is perfect and very comfortable, not too wide but not thin either.
It will fit any weight with a 1" hole but not many. The maximum I could put on it, with its handle and base, was 26 kilos so if you want more weight it's not your option. I would have liked it if more weight could be put on it. But overall it's a good product for the price. Recommended

For the cost and quality received this thing is unbeatable. Do have to tighten frequently, but easy to do.

Revision: many people say that this will not hold 30 lbs. That is incorrect. I had four 7.5lb weights on it this morning. I would not advise doing ballistic movements with this (like swings or cleans), as there are few threads left to hold it on the top. I did elevated deadlifts and it was perfectly fine.
