The weights are perfect for our home gym. The quality is amazing for the price.

Needed to do something about the belly and 'love-handles' that appeared over the past 2 years of lockdown! Was thinking of joining a local gym but... you know how that goes. So, decided to invest in these and build up towards my home gym.

They were delivered in sturdy cardboard box which can be used to store them when not in use. But, for me, these will always be out on the floor. Otherwise, out of site, out of mind!

If you have used weights in a gym, you will find these weights perfectly familiar. The advantage is that you can vary the amount of weight on each short bar and even use the connecting tube in either of two ways to make them into one barbell. After a few weeks of lockdown, I intend to start with them at about 6kg each and slowly build up through the summer. Only really strong people who want much heavier weights will find them insufficient. They arrive in a small very solid box which is difficult to carry, both for the courier and then yourself, so you need to exercise caution.

30kg of good weights, and a good set of dumbells and a serviceable barbell all for £100 is a bargain, especially when good 10kg plates are costing around £50-70, this is a great place to grab some dumbells with some nice quality metal plates. The set obviously doesn't come with a massive amount of weight, but it's easy enough to supplement it by buying more plates as you need.

I wanted something to enable me to exercise at home, as I don’t fancy the gym any more these days because of Covid.
I’m very pleased. Everything fits together nicely. Even using just half the weights seems reasonably heavy to me, so I doubt I will need to buy extra weights any time soon. Plenty of room to fit more on the bars if I ever want to though. The curved grips are comfortable and effective as I had expected.
The set even comes with a nice instruction leaflet showing 20 exercises and which muscles each is for, just like on the machines in the gym. Written in good English too. Just the job.
Having read some of the reviews I was worried about receiving a set with pieces missing. I need not have been. That’s some of the best packaging I’ve ever seen in a parcel.
